Hot Topics - Proper positioning our infants

Proper positioning our infants to prevent cranial molding, torticollis, external rotation of shoulders, hip and legs, and other unwanted delay in motor/mental/ and psycho/ social development.

Supine position - to prevent cranial molding and torticollis by supporting the head aligment with frog sand bag, bendy bumper and/or blanket rolls; to keep hands, hip and legs in alignment with trunk by using blanket rolls or bendy bumper.  A gel pad should be placed under the head and shoulder instead just cover the head.

Prone position - keep head, hands, hip and legs alignment by using a frog  sand bag, bendy bumper or blanket rolls; using a roll or a gel pad in half and place it under chest and tummy to keep shoulder from external rotation.

Side position - right or left side position will be the same to keep head, shoulder, hands,  hip and legs alignment, place a small blanket rolls in tummy area and use a frog sand bag, or bendy to support the body alignment.
