<p>Introduction of Speaker:  Ms. Charlotte Breithaupt,RN, MSN, LC, &#8220;Evidence-Based Nursing Practice with High-Risk Neonates Breastfeeding.&#8221;</p>
<p>Ms. Charlotte Breithaupt RN, MSN, LC, is a board certified Lactation Consultant and has served as a Lactation Consultant for Medical City Dallas Children&#8217;s Hospital since 2001. She has extensive teaching experience over the past thirty-two years with Universities in kansas, Okalahoma, and Texas:  Washburn University, the University of kansas, Oral Roberts University, Langston University Center, the University of Tulsa, and Baylor University (bothe in Waco and Dallas, Texas Campuses).  During her teaching career, Ms. Breithaupt earned four Outstanding Facluty and Outstanding Lecturer Awards.  Currently Ms. Breithaupt serves as as senior lecturer with Baylor University along with her lactation consultant duties at Medical City Dallas Children&#8217;s Hospital.</p>
<p>ln addition to her taching positions, Ms. Breithaupt functioned as a staff nurse (includes administrative duties) from 1969 to 1999 with hospitals in Kansas City, Overland park, Tulsa, and Dallas.   She is an active lecturer and has publication on mother- baby experience in the recovery room along with several textbook reviews of chapters related to mother-baby topics.  In the past, Ms. Breithaupt was also an active volunteer with the Dallas Chpater March of Dimes and with Loving Life, a residential cancer recovery program.</p>

<p>Introduction of Speaker:  Dr, Walid Antoun Salhab, &#8220;BPD and Clinical Management&#8221;</p>
<p>Dr. Salhab is a well respected neonatalogist, who obatined his M.D. degree from American University of Beruit, School of Medicine in 1992 and trained at UT Memphis , Lebonheur children as an intern and a residednt, he further trained as a fellow at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas.  At there he excelled himself in clinical research with numerous publications in area of BPD, BPD and Asthma, NEC, GE Reflux, Apnea of Prematurity, Neonatal Neuro-Development, Effects of Antenatal and Postnatal Steriod Treatment, Meconium Aspiration, Car Seat Study, etc. He has received a great number of awards and given speech and lectures in the United States of America as well as oversea.  He had served as an attending physician in Parkland Memorial Hospital and the associate professor at UT Southwestern Medical School for past ten years and he currently joined the Pediatrix Groups as a neonatalogist.</p>
